ScamSentry
ScamSentry is a community reporting platform for surfacing scam activity through anonymous reports, moderation workflows, and location-based heatmap visualization.
The Challenge
Scam victims rarely report incidents publicly due to fear of judgment or retaliation. Without aggregated data, communities can't identify scam hotspots or emerging fraud patterns until significant damage is done.
The Approach
I designed an anonymous-first reporting system — no account required to submit. Reports are geotagged and rendered as Mapbox heatmaps so patterns become immediately visible. An admin moderation pipeline validates submissions, and a verified company directory helps users distinguish legitimate businesses from imposters.
What I Built
